Terms of Service

1. The service

Competitive Pulse provides AI-generated competitive intelligence briefings based on publicly available information about competitor companies you specify. The service is provided “as is” and is intended for business research purposes.

Briefings are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. Always verify important findings independently before acting on them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind yourself or your organisation to these terms. By using the service, you represent that these conditions are met.

3. Acceptable use

You may use Competitive Pulse for lawful business research. You may not:

• Use the service to research individuals (only businesses)
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Use the service to generate misleading or defamatory content about competitors
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service programmatically
• Submit URLs that point to private systems, intranet resources, or internal infrastructure

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial — you will not be charged until the trial ends.

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to active subscribers.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to data you submit to the service (competitor URLs, product context). We retain all rights to the service, platform, and software.

Briefings generated for you are licensed to you for internal business use. You may not republish briefings as your own original research or redistribute them commercially.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that briefings are accurate, complete, or free from error. AI-generated content may be wrong — verify independently before making business decisions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Competitive Pulse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost profits or business decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. On termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction you elect, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your location.

10. Changes to these terms

We will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
